YSI is seeking a highly skilled and experienced SQL DBA to support the program at Fort Belvoir, VA. This role requires an onsite professional with strong technical expertise.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Active Secret Clearance required.
- Ability to work onsite at Fort Belvoir, VA.
- 5+ years of experience as a SQL Server DBA in enterprise environments with Azure experience.
- Windows system Administration experience
- Expertise in SQL Server 2016 or newer (2019/2022 preferred).
- Strong command of T-SQL and experience in writing optimized queries and procedures.
- Proficiency in backup and recovery strategies (native and third-party tools).
- Familiarity with SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), Integration Services (SSIS), and Management Studio (SSMS).
- Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain SQL Server databases in development, test, and production environments.
- Monitor database performance and proactively resolve issues related to slow queries, resource usage, or replication.
- Perform regular maintenance tasks such as backups, indexing, integrity checks, and database tuning.
