JOB TITLE: Lead Software Engineer
JOB LOCATION: 3400 W. Plano Parkway, Plano, TX 75075 [Hybrid Position]
DUTIES: Responsible for the overall delivery process of a software application or service, including design, development, testing, deployment, production application support, and maintenance with a focus on automation. Design, code, test, debug and document new and existing components to ensure that software meets business, quality and operational needs. Align development teams to a shared technical direction and partners with those teams in elaborating the solution its interfaces. Work with portfolio stakeholders, Solution and Enterprise Architects, to develop, analyze, split, and realize the implementation of enablers. Build high quality code following unit testing and test-driven development. Establish critical NFRs at the solution level, participate in the definition of others. Drive and participate in code and document reviews, mentoring team in best practices. Collaborate with peer organizations, DevOps, support organizations on technical issues and provide guidance. Interpret and translate business needs to technical requirements and accurate estimates. Evaluate and recommend tools, techniques and processes to ensure the highest quality and performance is achieved. Work with team to troubleshoot code level problems quickly and efficiently. Focus on scalability, security and availability of all applications and processes. Contribute to the design and architecture to enable secure, scalable and maintainable software. Contribute to technical roadmap and technical debt elimination, balancing time, resource, and quality constraints to achieve business and strategic goals and requirements. Utilize JAVA/J2EE, Spring boot, and MuleSoft. Utilize SOAP, RESTful, RAML, Kafka and Hadoop. Utilize YARN, SPARK, Cassandra, Grafana, Oracle, MySQL, DB2, and GraphQL. Utilize Semantic technologies: Fuseki, Jena, Virtuoso, and Sparql. Utilize Junit, Groovy, Oracle Coherence, HazelCast, Redic, Docker, Git, Bitbucket, Maven and Ant. Utilize Jenkins, Jira, Kubernetes, Dynatrace, Vue JS, and ReactJS. Utilize Node JS, Typescript, WebLogic, WebSphere, T tomcat, and Microsoft Azure.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Requires a Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Information Technology and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in a related occupation utilizing JAVA/J2EE, Spring boot, and MuleSoft; utilizing SOAP, RESTful, RAML, Kafka and Hadoop; utilizing YARN, SPARK, Cassandra, Grafana, Oracle, MySQL, DB2, and GraphQL; utilizing Semantic technologies: Fuseki, Jena, Virtuoso, and Sparql; utilizing Junit, Groovy, Oracle Coherence, HazelCast, Redic, Docker, Git, Bitbucket, Maven and Ant; utilizing Jenkins, Jira, Kubernetes, Dynatrace, Vue JS, and ReactJS; and utilizing Node JS, Typescript, WebLogic, WebSphere, T tomcat, and Microsoft Azure.
