Role: Structural Engineer
Location: Decatur, IL

POSITION SUMMARY:
- Designing structural components and Performing advanced structural analysis and simulations prepare reports, designs, and drawings.
- Leading discussions with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders. Reviewing and approving project drawings and specifications. Overseeing the structural design process for complex engineering projects. Consulting on high-level engineering challenges and providing expert advice
- Building and maintaining relationships with clients, stakeholders, and partners
- Contributing to the development of company standards and practices. Leading risk assessments and ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
- Consider the strength of construction materials and select appropriately and provide technical advice on safe designs and construction.
- Obtain planning and/or building regulations approval and analyze configurations of the basic components of a structure.
- Liaise with professional staff such as architects and engineers and monitor and inspect all work undertaken by contractors to ensure structural soundness.
- Administer contracts and manage projects, inspect properties to evaluate the conditions and foundations. Use computer-aided design technology for simulation purposes. Expert experience in project management.
- Advanced knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
- Sound understanding of physics and mathematics and ability to liaise with professionals from other disciplines.
- Three-dimensional conceptual skills, analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail with organizational skills.
- As site SPOC he need to schedule project call with client
- Co-ordinate with offshore on design deliverable
- Co-ordinate with Client, Vendor and construction for inputs to be shared with offshore
- Prepare markups
- Review design document sent from offshore
- Deliver design package to customer
- Support construction team in Technical queries and clarification
- Previous experience as a Structural Engineer or similar field.
- Excellent knowledge of construction methods and regulations.
- Hands-on experience with AutoCAD .
- Data-driven mindset with excellent mathematical skills.
- Good communication ability (both written and verbal).
