Position Title: Lead .NET Developer
Duration: 6+ months with possibility of extension
Location: Hybrid - St. Paul, MN
About the Role:
We re seeking a Lead .NET Developer with strong experience in building scalable, high-performance, and secure applications. This hybrid role (1 day onsite/week) requires a hands-on technical leader who can turn enterprise-level architectural designs into actionable solutions, mentor developers, and deliver reliable, cloud-native applications using .NET and Azure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end development of .NET applications
- Translate architectural designs into detailed technical solutions
- Guide and mentor junior developers
- Design CI/CD pipelines and write automated tests (xUnit/NUnit)
- Build and integrate with Azure services (Functions, Logic Apps, Event Grid, etc.)
- Collaborate within Agile teams using Azure DevOps
- Implement monitoring and telemetry using Azure APM
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor s in IT or related field
- 8+ years in application development (3+ as a Lead Developer)
- Azure certification (e.g., Azure Developer Associate)
- 5+ years with .NET (C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core)
- 5+ years with front-end tech (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript + Angular/React/Blazor)
- 3+ years with Azure services and cloud-native development
- Strong SQL and ORM experience
- Experience with Agile and DevOps practices
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with API design and microservices architecture
- Familiarity with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate).
