Job Title: DevOps Solution Architect
Location: Austin, TX (Onsite)
Type: W2 Contract

Job Description:
We are seeking a DevOps Lead / Solution Architect to design and implement LPL s next-generation deployment orchestration framework. The ideal candidate will serve as the technical SME, ensuring seamless integration of GitHub Actions, Octopus Deploy, and ServiceNow with enterprise-level governance, sequencing, and compliance.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead solution design for orchestration framework integrating GitHub Actions, Octopus Deploy, and ServiceNow.

  • Define and implement environment promotion flows (Future Active Staging Prod) with guardrails for validation, dependencies, and approvals.

  • Develop reusable workflow templates and composite GitHub Actions.

  • Partner with stakeholders (Architecture, Engineering, CAB, Change Management) for governance and approval automation.

  • Ensure backward compatibility with existing scripts and deployment artifacts.

  • Oversee orchestration cutover and environment validation.

  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to DevOps engineers.

  • Ensure secure, reliable, and compliant deployment automation.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years SDLC experience, with 5+ years in DevOps solution architecture.

  • Deep hands-on expertise in GitHub Actions, Octopus Deploy, and ServiceNow.

  • Strong background in CI/CD design, environment promotion flows, orchestration guardrails, and rollback strategies.

  • Experience with diverse tech stacks (.NET, Angular, Java).

  • Excellent communication, troubleshooting, and stakeholder engagement skills.

  • Familiarity with GitOps, IaC, Canary/Blue-Green deployments.
