Hybrid- 3 days per week onsite; days will vary

Job Description:
Develop and deliver engineering solutions for gas turbine systems/sub-systems, including design definition, requirements capture, trade-off studies, and optimisation.
Perform analyses (mechanical, thermal, lifing, vibration, durability) to substantiate component and system integrity, performance and lifecycle.
Create and manage detailed design definitions such as CAD models, drawings (or model-based definitions), Dimensional tolerance stacks and GD&T.
Support manufacturing, supply chain and service activities: review supplier documentation, assess non-conforming hardware, manage change proposals, support production or field operations.
Investigate in-service or development hardware issues (failure analysis, root cause, corrective action), and feed learnings into design improvements.
Collaborate across disciplines (systems, aerothermal, materials, manufacturing, testing) and present, defend and manage design solutions to leadership/stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with applicable engineering standards, safety regulations and best practices (for example aerospace, defence or industrial GT contexts)

Experience:
5+ years
Gas Turbine
Competitor Experience- Preferred

Education:
Bachelor s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or related field. (Master s or PhD in a relevant discipline may substitute for experience.)
Several years (depending on level) of mechanical/component design experience, preferably in gear systems, rotating equipment or aerospace applications.
