If you live near Minnetonka, MN, you will enjoy the flexibility of a hybrid-remote role as you take on some tough challenges.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop software applications and application components in an agile environment using the E2E Java framework on Azure or Google Cloud Platform cloud platform
  • Provides explanations and interpretations within area of expertise
  • Create high-quality software by conducting peer design or code reviews and developing automated test cases
  • Design patterns and optimize the performance of services
  • Act as a hands-on engineer, leading by example and working independently
  • Build production-ready features and capabilities adhering to the best engineering standards
  • Share knowledge internally with peers and leaders, acting as a resource for teams and business units within areas of expertise
  • Collaborate with Principal Engineers or Technical Architects to develop prototypes into production-ready features
  • Leverage the latest technologies to solve complex problems facing the health care industry
  • Guide and mentor junior engineers within the organization
  • Writing SQL queries
  • Understand the ins and outs of our product and identify gaps
  • Analyzes data to identify trends in product quality or defects with the goal of mitigating and preventing recurrence and future defects
  • Works with less structured, more complex issues
  • Serves as a resource for others

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma/GED (or higher)
  • 6+ years of software development experience
  • 6+ years of professional software development experience on the Java platform
  • 5+ years of experience focused on Java or J2EE software development on Azure/Google Cloud Platform cloud platforms, including Java, Spring framework, multi-threading, caching techniques, software engineering best practices, and performance optimization of services using memory management, garbage collection, CI or CD systems such as Jenkins, and code management tools like GitHub. Java full stack (API backend heavy)
  • 3+ years of experience in API and Integrations: Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs and event-driven architecture using Kafka or similar technologies
  • 3+ years of experience designing and developing data-driven applications using RDMBS (Oracle, PL or SQL) and/or NoSQL datastores

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or Business Administration

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The salary for this role will range from $71,200 to $127,200 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
