Interested in joining our team of dedicated professionals? Way Finders is currently seeking a Senior Vice President, Information Technology (SVP IT). The SVP IT supports our mission by directing the organization s information technology and workplace facilities activities including systems analysis, IT support systems, cybersecurity, space configuration, and data analysis. The SVP IT manages the relationship between IT and other functional areas of the organization, and will establish short and long-term plans for the acquisition and deployment of new equipment and technologies that will facilitate the achievement of organizational goals and objectives.

Way Finders is made up of ~330 employees over ~35 locations in Western Massachusetts (Pioneer Valley). The IT team consists of 5 staff including the Facilities Manager.

Wage starts between $125,000 and $150,000 per year depending on qualifications. Interested applicants must submit a resume and cover letter; applications will be accepted until the position is filled.
The candidate may work in a hybrid-remote capacity but must live within commutable distance.

Responsibilities include:
Research equipment and software needs and negotiate contracts for products and services with consultants, technical personnel, and vendors
Prepare, implement, and execute IT budget
Responsible for the oversight of the Facilities Manager who is responsible for space planning for the organization s offices (housing centers, residential resource centers, and business resource centers)
Collaborate with the Business Intelligence team to ensure integration and optimization of data utilization and reporting across all databases
Develop system performance standards to provide quality and timely service in support of the organizational mission
Consult with and advise senior management in data analysis, recordkeeping, and reporting requirements to determine the most effective data management systems for the organization
Maintain inventory of computer equipment, software, and relevant licenses
Oversee and manage office logistics in terms of systems and office space requirements
Monitor system performance in support of established policies and procedures
Supervise, direct, and support IT department in the operation and maintenance of computer equipment and software applications
Manage department control of network, backup, storage, and retrieval functions
Assess department training needs and oversee IT training programs ensuring the appropriateness of training to end users
Develop, monitor, and ensure the implementation of effective policies and processes including storage systems, back-up capability, data accuracy, and network security
Maintain and ensure legal and regulatory compliance of IT systems
Develop, maintain, implement, and monitor the application and effectiveness of disaster recovery system and plan

Supervisory responsibilities include:
Evaluate and provide timely feedback to staff on performance-related matters; assess staff members strengths and developmental needs; implement performance plans to ensure the development and/or maintenance of necessary skills
Set effective and achievable training plans for new staff members; evaluate and make process improvements based on feedback
Hire new/replacement staff in an efficient manner, following recruiting process guidelines
Provide proper support and mentoring to supervisory-level employees to ensure they take ownership of their own hiring needs
Those directly and indirectly supervised will include facilities manager, IT staff, interns, contractors, and temporary workers

Requirements include:
7 years' progressively responsible senior level management experience in information technology; a combination of experience plus a Bachelor's degree may be a substitute
Experience with hardware and software including VOIP, Wi-Fi, SharePoint, OneDrive; solid understanding of features available within MS365 and Azure cloud-based computing applications; an understanding of databases
Outstanding interpersonal and written communication skills; effective presentation skills
Ability to lead team to provide excellent service, including customer service, across a high volume, multi-location, growing organization
Excellent project management and organizational skills; detail oriented
Thorough understanding of IS policies and procedures
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Thorough understanding of, or the ability to quickly master technology used in the organization
