Experienced Cloud Transformation Focused Program Manager
We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Program Manager with a strong background in technology programs and cloud transformation initiatives. This role is pivotal in managing interdependencies across several teams and leading the strategic execution of complex projects. The ideal candidate will have experience in both management and execution phases of cloud transformation. This position is based in Kansas City, MO, and is designed for a fixed duration with the potential to bring significant impact before the end of November. The role mandates the candidate to be in the office three times per week, including mandatory in-office days on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, with a third flexible day.
Responsibilities
  • Lead all phases of the project lifecycle, including project planning, kick-offs, status meetings, and the management of timeline, budget, achievements, and deliverables.
  • Effectively communicate program status, risks, scope, and other critical factors to clients and stakeholders.
  • Work collaboratively with the program team to identify risks, plan for risk response and mitigation, and proactively monitor ongoing risks and issues.
  • Manage and lead the delivery of product development-based programs and/or strategy-based initiatives, while developing strategic program plans.
  • Utilize an Agile (Scrum) and/or SAFe framework for leading programs, ensuring efficient and effective execution.
  • Facilitate decision-making processes, drive collaboration across teams, and ensure strong project governance.
  • Oversee financial management aspects of the program, ensuring alignment with project objectives and organizational goals.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in managing and executing technology and cloud transformation programs.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate complex information clearly and persuasively.
  • Experience in Agile (Scrum) and SAFe methodologies.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools, including MS PowerPoint, MS Project, and MS Visio.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead all phases of a project lifecycle effectively.
  • Strong financial management skills, with a preference for candidates who have managed program budgets effectively.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Commitment to being present in the office three times per week, with flexibility on the third day.
  • Authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
Pay Range: $55.00 - $61.00 per hour
