Job Details

This 80+ year old Financial Services company has over $65 Billion in assets providing financial assistance for housing and economic development in the communities they serve is seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Quality Assurance Tester.

You will need deep experience in manual and automated testing, a strong understanding of software QA methodologies and experience collaborating closely with cross-functional teams ensuring seamless deployment and validation of system enhancements.
RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on functional and technical requirements
  • Execute end-to-end test strategies, ensuring alignment with system upgrade objectives and timelines
  • Perform functional, regression and integration test
  • Ensure traceability from business requirements to test coverage
  • Conduct root cause analysis and provide recommendations for improvements
  • Identify, document and track defects
  • Collaborate with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to ensure requirements are met
  • Participate in Agile/Scrum development cycles and contribute to sprint planning and retrospectives
  • Participate in walkthroughs, reviews, and working sessions to understand upgrade impact and communicate quality assurance findings effectively
  • Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and production release validation

BACKGROUND

  • Solid experience in software QA testing including manual and regression testing.
  • Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and QA methodologies
  • Experience in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform)
  • Knowledge of database testing and writing SQL queries
  • Deep understanding of manual testing methodologies
  • Calypso knowledge/working experience a plus
