Our Government Services team provides cleared resources with a global reach to federal civilian, Department of Defense (DoD) and intelligence community markets. We excel at delivering innovative, operationally ready, and cost-effective IT solutions that accelerate the interoperability and resiliency of mission critical systems.

What will you be doing?
World Wide Technology, LLC has an opportunity available for a Cloud Engineer to support our Government Services team in building, maintaining, and optimizing scalable cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have strong DevOps experience, scripting proficiency, and cloud engineering expertise within AWS environments, with exposure to Google Cloud Platform and multi-cloud operations considered a bonus. This position will focus on AWS Architecture and support within a customer's environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Active Secret clearance
- 8+ years of experience in cloud engineering or DevOps roles
- Strong knowledge of AWS and Azure cloud environments.
- Experience in automation & configuration management using Ansible, Terraform, Chef, or Puppet.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Perl, Shell, or Batch.
- Expertise in CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Bamboo, or GitLab CI/CD.
- Deep understanding of Linux internals and core system services (DNS, SMTP, Syslog, IPTables, etc.).
- Hands-on experience with Git, version control workflows, and Agile methodologies.
- Familiarity with object-oriented programming languages such as Golang, C#, Java, or C++.
- Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift).
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in hybrid cloud environments.
- Excellent nt verbal and written communication skills with great attention to detail and accuracy
Preferred but not required:
- Experience working with federal agencies or government cloud projects.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and cloud automation.
- Experience managing cloud-based DevOps infrastructure and supporting federal agencies.
- Familiarity with hybrid cloud networking, security, and storage integrations.
- Ability to support enterprise cloud migrations and optimize cloud environments for cost, security, and performance.
Clearance Requirements:
- Secret with the ability to obtain a Top Secret
