Job Description

Work directly with Oracle Health IT Managed Services client to build and support server and data center infrastructure. This role involves building and supporting Windows OS and Linux RHEL virtual machines, building and supporting physical and virtual server infrastructure, and completing assigned incident management tickets. This role works directly with the client and technical teams for advanced-tier troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and support virtualized server environments (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).

Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Windows Server operating systems.

Provide support and maintenance for Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) servers.

Serve as an escalation point for Tier 3 support, addressing advanced system issues.

Monitor system performance and perform capacity planning.

Implement security best practices and ensure system compliance.

Participate in system upgrades, patches, and disaster recovery planning.

Document procedures, configurations, and support resolutions.

Basic Qualifications:

3+ years of experience in a systems engineering or similar technical role.

Hands-on experience with server virtualization technologies.

Strong knowledge of Windows Server environments and Active Directory.

Proficient in supporting and administering RHEL or other Linux-based systems.

Experience in a Tier 3 support capacity, with strong troubleshooting skills.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Must be able to work onsite in Columbia, MO.

Preferred Qualifications:

Certifications such as VMware VCP, Microsoft Certified: Windows Server, or Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA).

Scripting or automation experience (e.g., PowerShell, Bash).

Familiarity with monitoring tools and ticketing systems.

US: Hiring Range in USD from $27.07 to $54.13 per hour; from: $56,300 to $112,600 per annum. May be eligible for equity.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position.
