RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking an Implementation Lead - Banking in Salt Lake City, UT.
Summary:
Our client is embarking on a major commercial-lending transformation, implementing a new loan-origination platform. This end-to-end program encompasses configuration, infrastructure, interfaces, data conversion, and migration. The first production release is targeted for January 2026, with key design, development, testing, mock-go-live, and dress-rehearsal milestones throughout 2025.
Role & Responsibilities:
As the Implementation Lead, you will:
* Define Deployment Strategy: Partner with business, operations, and technology stakeholders to craft a comprehensive rollout plan
* Manage Implementation Readiness: Build and maintain detailed schedules covering technical and non-technical activities, environment provisioning, release coordination, staffing for command centers, bug triage, reporting, and post-go-live support
* Coordinate Cross-Functional Teams: Serve as the central point for training, development, operations, infrastructure, and project teams-ensuring everyone shares a unified timeline and set of expectations
* Oversee Mock Runs & Dress Rehearsals: Plan, execute, and evaluate full-scale dress rehearsals and data-conversion tests to validate processes and tooling
* Lead Deployment & Transition: Organize and mentor a team of deployment leads and analysts to install the solution in production, define user-rollout strategies, conduct readiness checkpoints, and prepare operational and technical transition plans
REQUIREMENTS:
* Transformation Experience: Proven track record leading large-scale loan-platform or core-system conversions-ideally within financial services
* Implementation Expertise: Hands-on experience planning and executing multi-team deployments, including mock-go-lives and cutovers
* Project Leadership: Exceptional organizational skills, with strong command of project-management best practices (PMP, Agile/SAFe)
* Collaboration & Communication: Outstanding verbal and written communication; ability to build trust across business, technical, and operations teams
* Technical Aptitude: Comfortable coordinating infrastructure, data-migration, and integration activities-though this is a leadership-focused role
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
