Job Details

Requirements:
  • Candidates must have 5+ years of existing and successful SLED relationships in Indiana and direct account management experience within the assigned territory.
  • Executive level customer experience
  • Experience with consultative services sales approach and/or disruptive technology
  • A recent understanding of the SLED technical challenges and account complexities within the Indiana territory.
  • E-Rate knowledge and experience is highly desired.
  • Active relationships with R1 Higher Education Institutions in the region.
  • Understanding the diverse selling motions of SLED, including contracts and programs and an ability to creatively identify traditional and non-traditional paths to market.
  • Ideal experience includes technology sales focused on Network, Collaboration, Security, Data and AI, Data Centers and Cloud.
  • Strong skills in developing new relationships with customers and the ability to interpret clients' technical challenge and develop the appropriate solution.
  • Critical skills in account planning with an extended team, calling at all levels within the customer's organization, and managing partner relationships are required.
  • Outstanding communication and organizational skills required.
  • Reside in the Indianapolis Metro Area.
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent industry experience preferred.

Certain states and localities require employers to post a reasonable estimate of salary range. A reasonable estimate of the current base salary range for this position is $80,000 to $130,000. Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors, including location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure and certification, and business needs. The range for this position in other geographic locations may differ. Certain positions may also be eligible for variable incentive compensation, such as bonuses or commissions, that is not included in the base salary.

What will you be doing?

As a Client Manager you will lead WWT sales efforts in Indiana. Armed with the expertise of WWT's ecosystem of architects and engineers, you'll build and nurture relationships with our customer leaders, identify gaps within the customers technical environment and deliver state-of-the-art solutions in Multi-Cloud Architecture, Security Transformation, AI & Data Analytics, Infrastructure Modernization, and Business Continuity with State, Local Government, and Education (SLED) accounts in Indiana. With our Advanced Technology Center and Platform () at your fingertips for briefings, training, workshops, demos and POC's you'll be delivering best in class results for your customers. This position will require the ability to travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities:
  • Position WWT capabilities and service offerings with customer business and technology objectives.
  • Acts in a consultative fashion to the customers and partners (OEMs).
  • Effective at working with cross functional teams to develop business relevant solutions for our customers and partners.
  • Develop and execute account strategy.
  • Lead a high-performance team of inside sales, technology specialists, and consultants.
  • Create and drive sales campaigns from discovery to close.
  • Build and maintain relationships with C-level executives and decision-making leaders at targeted customers.
  • Manage a pipeline of opportunities and forecast accurately.
