Location & Work Arrangement
- City, State: Atlanta, Georgia
- Work Arrangement: Hybrid (Telework is encouraged with some days in the office required; specific schedule TBD).
- Contract: This is a Contract position.

Core Training and System Responsibilities
The specialist will act as a consultant and trainer, blending technical HRIS knowledge with effective adult learning methodologies.
Training Delivery & Development
- Workday Training: Deliver training and content related to the State's HRIS, Workday (GA@WORK).
- Multiple Methods: Conduct instructor-led training both virtually and in-person to deliver HRA-approved courses to state entity staff. Experience delivering training through multiple methods (in-person, online, virtual, multimedia) is required (2+ years).
- Content Maintenance: Maintain and update training course materials, exercises, hand-outs, and exams to reflect best practices and incorporate changes in policies, processes, forms, or systems.
- System Utilization: Utilize systems training environments and related tools to lead student activities.
Talent Solutions Consultation
- Recruiting Best Practices: Provide training and resources to agency recruiters on best practices, including talent pool optimization, creating internship programs, interviewing, and using Workday to streamline the recruiting process.
- Program Management: Apply strong program management and administration skills to organize, manage details, and keep multiple training tasks/projects on track.
- Data Analysis: Analyze relevant GA@WORK-related data and generate graphic and narrative reports and presentations to support continuous program improvement.
LMS Administration
- LMS Maintenance: Assist with maintenance of the HRA's Learning Management System (LMS).
- Administrative Support: Respond to requests for enrollment in learning paths, courses, or exams and handle other administrative activities.
Required and Preferred Qualifications

| HRIS/Workday | Desired (1 Year) | Experience using Workday (Core HCM, Compensation, Talent Optimization/Management) or other Workday modules as an administrator or trainer. |
| Systems Training | Desired (1 Year) | General HRIS systems training experience. |
