About the Role
We’re looking for a passionate Business Systems Analyst / Business Analyst to join our Product Development team. In this role, you’ll be instrumental in gathering and translating business requirements into clear, actionable development tasks for our flagship product, a financial services platform designed to deliver seamless experiences and powerful results for both clients and internal teams.

You’ll work cross-functionally with product managers, developers, QA, and business stakeholders to drive product enhancements and support internal and client-facing systems. This role plays a critical part in improving the quality, efficiency, and impact of our software solutions.


Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to gather and define business requirements related to our core platform.

  • Support financial application enhancements, upgrades, and issue resolution.

  • Analyze existing workflows and identify opportunities for automation and process improvement.

  • Participate in agile ceremonies (sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives).

  • Support user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure business requirements are met.

  • Respond to service requests, incidents, and enhancement requests related to product management tools.

  • Act as a bridge between technical teams and business units—ensuring clarity, accuracy, and alignment across all requirements.

  • Maintain comprehensive documentation including workflows, requirements, specifications, and user guides.


Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or Business Systems Analyst in a product development or software-focused environment.

  • Experience working on financial, tax-related, or regulated systems/platforms.

  • Strong knowledge of both Agile and Waterfall methodologies and the software development life cycle (SDLC).

  • Familiarity with tools like PM Smart, Jira, and Confluence.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills—comfortable leading meetings, demos, and trainings.

  • Proven ability to translate complex business needs into technical requirements.

  • Background in supporting internal development teams, system integration, or product launches.

  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and passionate about solving problems through technology.


Bonus Points

  • Experience in financial services, tax, or legal tech industries.

  • Familiarity with UI/UX principles or QA/testing workflows.

  • Background in SaaS platforms or client-facing web applications.
