Quality Assurance Lab Technician


Contract: 3 months (could extend)


Location: Dallas-Texas 75236 (Mountain Creek Parkway)

1st Shift: 6am to 2pm, Mon to Fri, Weekends as needed


This position is primarily accountable for performing quality checks to ensure conformity of finished products.


Responsibilities

• Perform assigned QA testing, source testing, and/or sanitation checks in compliance with local, state, federal and company policies and procedures


• Inspections of process, products, raw materials and supplies monitoring quality assurance parameters and GMP compliance.


• Sanitation of equipment and production areas according to regulatory standards.


• Maintain testing schedule and provide QA support for manufacturing operations.


• Provide detailed communication and report any results outside of standards or specification.


• Verify accuracy of work (i.e. QA line checks, verification of load in/ load out accuracy).


• Ensure accuracy of calibration of equipment (Pumps, thermometer, etc.) on a regular basis.

Requirements

• BA/ BS Degree desired or equivalent industry work experience; food and beverage industry preferred.


• Laboratory testing skills; working knowledge of water processing, chemistry, microbiology, fluid metering and monitoring devices.


• Excellent communication and analytical skills required.


• Basic mathematical and accounting skills.


• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suites and Products.


• Focus on safe work practices and high quality while executing duties under minimal supervision


• Ability to lift products and equipment up to 50 pounds.
