Job Details
What You Will Do:
Integrates data networking systems, which encompasses multiple protocols across multiple locations including Internet access. Provides complex, high-level technical support for the networking infrastructure, and carries out all assignments requiring the development of new and/or improved technology and procedures. Work within established configuration and change management policies to ensure awareness, approval and success of changes made to the network infrastructure. Establishes networking environment by directing system installation: defines, and enforces system standards. Installs, configures, and maintains networking devices for the Corporate LAN/WAN and Internet infrastructure. Prepare and maintain detailed documentation of network LAN, WAN, wireless and network access control systems. Monitor performance, schedule upgrades, and collaborate with network engineer team for network optimizations and maximization. Completes any other job related duties needed to help drive to our Vision, fulfill our Purpose, and abide by our Organization's Values.
What We Require:
Bachelor degree in MIS or equivalent education and/or experience. Minimum of four (4) years of related experience, especially in voice and data communications. Minimum of four (4) years in LAN/Wan installation and implementation and the ability to solve related LAN/WAN communication issues. Knowledge of networking hardware, software and routing protocols across multiple platforms. Knowledge of network security best practices. Able to function in a high volume environment and within time constraints while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail. High level of professionalism and confidentiality of sensitive information. Provide seven day a week, twenty-four hour a day on call support.
Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Solid understanding of the OSI or TCP/IP model. Strong understanding of networking protocols (IPSEC, HSRP, BGP, OSPF, 802.11, QoS).
