Project manager cloud migration

Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to lead and oversee the migration of on-premise applications, tools, and utilities to the cloud. This transformation will be executed in multiple waves over 24-36 months. The Project Manager will play a key role in planning, execution, and governance while ensuring alignment with security policies and business objectives.
Day-to-Day / Responsibilities:

Lead and manage cloud migration projects, ensuring seamless transition from on-premise to cloud infrastructure.

Develop and execute detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets for each migration wave.

Oversee cross-functional collaboration, ensuring all stakeholders are aligned on project goals and deliverables.

Provide tracking, reporting, and governance for all migration waves, ensuring transparency and accountability.

Directly manage at least one migration wave, ensuring adherence to schedule and quality standards.

Oversee and coordinate all FTP migration activities to ensure successful data transfers.

Manage security-related initiatives, including Single Sign-On (SSO) and compliance with enterprise security policies.

Drive change management, ensuring smooth adoption of cloud-based applications.

Identify risks and dependencies, implementing mitigation strategies proactively.



Key Skills:

5+ years of project management experience, preferably in cloud transformation, IT infrastructure, or enterprise application migration.

Proven experience in managing large-scale, multi-phase technology migration projects.

Strong understanding of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and security best practices.

Experience with project governance, tracking, and reporting methodologies.

Ability to manage multiple stakeholders, vendors, and cross-functional teams.

Expertise in risk management, change management, and process improvement.

Proficiency in PM tools such as Jira, Microsoft Project, or Smartsheet.

Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

PMP, PMI-ACP, or cloud certifications (AWS, Azure) are a plus.



Preferred Skills:
PBM &/or Healthcare experience is highly preferable
