Description

We are looking for a skilled and proactive Cloud Engineer to join our dynamic team in Southfield, Michigan. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining efficient cloud-based solutions that align with organizational objectives. This position requires expertise in cloud technologies and a commitment to ensuring scalable, secure, and reliable systems.

Responsibilities:
Design and deploy cloud infrastructure using platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Automate provisioning and management of cloud resources with tools like Terraform or Ansible.
Monitor and troubleshoot cloud systems to identify and resolve performance or reliability issues.
Collaborate with development teams to seamlessly integrate cloud solutions into existing workflows.
Implement and enforce robust security measures and compliance standards across cloud environments.
Optimize cloud resource utilization to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
Stay informed about the latest advancements in cloud technologies to implement innovative solutions.
Develop strategies to ensure high availability and scalability of cloud-based systems.
Conduct regular audits to assess system reliability and security.
Provide guidance and support for cloud-related technical challenges within the organization.

Requirements

Proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Strong experience with automation tools like Ansible and Terraform.
In-depth knowledge of cloud technologies and multi-cloud environments.
Familiarity with scalable cloud solutions, including auto-scaling and load balancing.
Expertise in implementing secure cloud environments and compliance standards.
Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve cloud performance issues.
Strong understanding of cost optimization strategies for cloud resources.
Excellent communication skills for collaboration with cross-functional teams.
