Role: IT Project Coordinator
Location: Enron, Ohio
Years of experience: 10+
Job Description:
The IT Project Coordinator is responsible for collaborating with the IT Project Managers and Business Teams to collect daily statuses. They will attend project meetings, provide meeting minutes for all team members, track project progress, share documents, and organize all project-related notes and documentation. They will primarily work with the project team to ensure status visibility and to provide timely reporting.
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
- Collects the necessary information required for intake, approval, and prioritization of projects
- Partners with project team members to identify the goals and requirements of each project
- Maintains project timeframes, objectives, and communications
- Creates and manages documentation and reports for projects
- Tracks, forecasts, and reports on project progress including metrics, risks, and changes
- Provides and supports the implementation schedules, as required
- Contributes to project team through involvement in daily management planning meetings, scheduling, etc.
- Acts as subject matter expert for IT project planning processes
- Helps gather, analyze, and communicates requirements, business processes, policies etc.
- Analyzes existing reporting to ensure project team and executives needs are met
- Collaborate on a regular basis with lead PM to stay in synch on daily activitie
Must Have's:
- College degree required or equivalent work experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience as an IT project coordinator, project analyst, business analyst, or equivalent role
- Minimum 2 years experience working directly with Data Center Services projects and knowledge of IT infrastructure
- Proficiency using project management tools which include, but not limited to Microsoft Office suite, with advanced knowledge of Excel and MSProject
- Strong background in project management identifying and implementing solutions
- Experience working in a high-volume complex environment
- Proven track record of meeting project outcomes and timelines
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Exceptional research and reporting skills
- Experience with Microsoft PowerBI is a plus
Additional Skills:
- Project Management certifications (e.g., PMP) or a 2-year college degree.
