Opportunity Overview:
iSphere is seeking a skilled AV Engineer with deep expertise in Microsoft Teams Rooms (MTR) to join a growing team supporting enterprise-wide audiovisual infrastructure. This hybrid, New York City-based position plays a pivotal role in deploying, maintaining, and optimizing AV systems across executive boardrooms, conference rooms, and collaboration spaces. The right candidate will combine technical know-how with strong stakeholder communication skills to deliver exceptional video conferencing experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and support Microsoft Teams Rooms (MTR) systems across various meeting environments

• Manage daily operations, performance monitoring, and preventative maintenance of AV systems

• Collaborate with IT, Facilities, and third-party vendors to deliver AV projects on time and within scope

• Ensure seamless integration with enterprise technologies such as Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, Intune, and network infrastructure

• Perform firmware, OS, and security patch updates for MTR hardware and supporting peripherals

• Document AV setups, standard operating procedures, and user support materials

• Troubleshoot issues involving video conferencing, AV signal flow, audio DSPs, control systems, and network configuration

• Maintain AV inventory, licensing records, and warranty documentation

• Ensure all AV implementations meet corporate security and compliance standards

Required Skills & Experience:

• 5-7 years of hands-on experience as an AV Engineer or similar role

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Teams Rooms systems (e.g., Logitech, Poly, Crestron, Lenovo)

• MTR certifications or equivalent AV certifications highly preferred

• Strong understanding of unified communications, AV signal flow, and video conferencing platforms

• Proficiency in networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, VLANs, QoS) as applied to AV deployments

• Experience with room scheduling systems, AV control systems (e.g., Crestron), and display interfaces

• Familiarity with Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Intune) and Windows-based collaboration systems

• Exposure to Zoom Rooms or other collaboration platforms

• Exceptional troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills

• Ability to work on-site three days a week and manage multiple AV deployments and priorities
