About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced IT Technical Lead to architect and implement our next-generation entitlement management system for software and services. This critical, high-impact role is instrumental in designing scalable solutions, guiding technical teams, and ensuring strategic alignment with our IT architecture, compliance policies, and evolving business objectives.
What You'll Do
You will be the driving force behind the design and implementation of our B2B software and services entitlement platform. Your responsibilities include:
- Gain a deep understanding of our B2B software licensing models and monetization methods.
- Develop deep expertise in the Licensing platform and lead its adoption through best practices across the organization.
- Lead the end-to-end implementation of the new Licensing solution.
- Collaborate with software product teams to design and implement license management strategies that enable post-sales monetization. This includes analyzing requirements, crafting innovative solutions, and influencing teams to adopt optimal software distribution and monetization approaches.
- Partner with business and cross-functional teams to design comprehensive solutions for entitlement management.
- Optimize and solve for day-to-day operational challenges of the platform.
- Drive the integration of entitlement management systems with enterprise IT platforms (e.g., ERP systems).
- Collaborate with enterprise architects to ensure all solutions align with strategic goals and IT standards.
- Communicate effectively with global stakeholders through professional presentations and clear documentation.
Qualifications:
- Minimum Education: Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, or equivalent.
- Experience: 7+ to 10 years of overall experience.
- 8+ years of experience in understanding core computer science principles and algorithms.
- 2+ years as a technical lead of medium to large teams. (Management Experience Required)
- Expertise in IT enterprise solution designs using both off-the-shelf and custom solutions.
- Experience in applications that integrate with backend ERP systems.
- Experience in building customer-facing apps and understanding their core principles.
- Hands-on experience with backend scripting languages like NodeJS, or Python.
- Hands-on experience with AWS services, including storage, caching, API Gateway, and IAM role-based access control.
- Experience ensuring compliance with data privacy and regulatory standards such as PII, GDPR, and CFR.
- Must be passionate about optimization and speed of systems while designing solutions.
- Experience with Agile SCRUM development methodology.
- Ability to translate requirements into detailed design and solution documents.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and team-facilitation skills.
- Strong attention to detail and deadlines.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
