Description

We are looking for an experienced Program Manager with a strong background in aerospace and systems engineering to lead complex projects in the high-tech engineering sector. This role requires a proactive leader who can manage cross-functional teams, ensure program success, and maintain alignment with both technical and business objectives. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and a proven ability to deliver results in a client-facing environment.

Responsibilities:
Lead and manage cross-functional teams to deliver aerospace and defense programs on schedule, within scope, and within budget.
Develop comprehensive technical and programmatic plans based on customer requirements.
Oversee systems engineering processes, including requirements development, system architecture, verification, validation, and risk management.
Coordinate the integration of aerospace systems, including mechanical, electrical, software, and avionics components.
Create and maintain program schedules, budgets, resource plans, and progress reports.
Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, quality assurance, and supply chain teams to achieve program objectives.
Conduct internal and external program reviews, facilitating technical discussions with stakeholders.
Support business development initiatives by preparing proposals, delivering technical presentations, and negotiating contracts.
Identify and mitigate risks associated with technical and programmatic challenges.
Ensure compliance with all relevant standards and regulations throughout program execution.

Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field.
At least 7 years of experience in aerospace or defense programs, with 3+ years in program or project management roles.
Demonstrated success in managing complex, multi-disciplinary projects in a client-facing capacity.
Strong knowledge of systems engineering processes and lifecycles.
Proficiency with program management tools such as Project, Jira, and Confluence.
Exceptional interpersonal, negotiation, and verbal and written communication skills.
Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, CSM) are a plus.
Must be eligible to work in the U.S., with the ability to obtain a security clearance preferred.
