Description

We are looking for a meticulous and analytical Pricing Analyst to join our team in Houston, Texas. In this role, you will analyze and interpret data to uncover trends, provide actionable insights, and contribute to strategic business decisions. This position offers an opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams and make a significant impact on pricing strategies and business outcomes.

Responsibilities:
Analyze complex datasets to identify trends, draw meaningful conclusions, and support business strategies.
Prepare detailed actuarial reports and present findings in formats tailored to various audiences.
Collaborate with investment, underwriting, and technical teams to refine assumptions, methodologies, and results.
Conduct experience studies and assist in developing pricing assumptions for both direct and reinsurance business.
Plan and manage team workflows to ensure alignment with project priorities and deadlines.
Provide support for reinsurance arrangements, including both inward and outward business queries.
Participate in pricing-related activities such as product pricing, sales campaigns, new business planning, and risk monitoring.
Work closely with global entities and external partners on product development and reinsurance projects.

Requirements

Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server and SQL queries.
Strong skills in data analysis and the ability to interpret large datasets.
Experience working with database objects and related tools.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills to effectively present complex findings.
Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage workflows.
Prior experience in pricing, actuarial work, or similar roles is a plus.
