* Set up and configure Linux endpoints from scratch in a minimal existing environment.
* Deploy and manage Landscape for centralized device management, monitoring, and patching.
* Evaluate and recommend improvements to the current Linux architecture for scalability and compliance.
* Design and implement secure baseline configurations for Linux systems.
* Develop and enforce policies for endpoint security, access control, and data protection.
* Create automation scripts for provisioning, updates, and compliance checks.
* Integrate Linux endpoints with existing identity and access management systems (e.g., LDAP, Active Directory).
* Define and document standard operating procedures (SOPs) for Linux endpoint lifecycle management.
* Establish patch management and vulnerability remediation workflows.
* Collaborate with InfoSec and IT teams to align Linux endpoint strategy with organizational security standards.
* Provide technical leadership on Linux adoption, including roadmap planning and tool evaluation.
* Monitor system performance, usage trends, and compliance metrics using Landscape and other tools.
* Conduct regular audits and ensure systems meet internal and external compliance requirements (e.g., CIS benchmarks).
* Train internal teams and end-users on Linux usage, security practices, and troubleshooting.
* Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve the Linux environment.
