A day in the Life:
Monitor open-source intelligence (OSINT) and internal security data.
Conduct in-depth analysis of cyber threat actors and their tactics.
Develop intelligence reports tailored to various collaborators.
Keys to Success:
Proactively identify emerging threats and vulnerabilities.
Produce timely, accurate, and actionable threat intelligence.
Collaborate closely with security operations and incident response teams.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent experience required.
Experience
6+ years in cyber threat intelligence or SOC roles, with senior capacity.
Expertise in threat intelligence frameworks (e.g MITRE ATT&CK, Diamond Model, Kill Chain).
Proficiency with threat intelligence platforms (Crowd Strike, Google Threat Intelligence, Virus Total).
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
Strong analytical skills and understanding of the threat landscape (IOCs, TTPs, TAs).
Ability to communicate complex technical information effectively.
Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell).
Physical Requirements / Work Environment
This position primarily involves office work with occasional need for on-call support.

The salary range estimated for this position based in Maryland is $113,500.00-$165,000.00.

Compensation and Benefits
The salary range estimated for this position based in Maryland is $113,500.00-$165,000.00.
