Job Description:
We are seeking a highly experienced Data Engineer with a strong background in modern data engineering tools and cloud platforms. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in Databricks, DBT, AWS, and Apache Spark, and will be proficient in writing complex SQL queries to support data transformation and analytics workflows.
Mandatory Skills:
- Databricks: Deep understanding and practical experience with building and maintaining scalable data pipelines.
- DBT (Data Build Tool): Strong recent experience working with DBT for data transformation and modeling.
- AWS: Proven experience using AWS cloud services such as S3, Lambda, Glue, Redshift, etc.
- Apache Spark: Strong development background using PySpark or Scala for large-scale data processing.
- SQL: Ability to write optimized, complex queries for data transformation and analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Spark on Databricks.
- Implement transformation logic using DBT in AWS-based data environments.
- Optimize data flows and queries to ensure high performance and reliability.
- Collaborate with data analysts, architects, and stakeholders to understand business requirements.
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and governance throughout the data lifecycle.
- Contribute to best practices for data engineering and cloud-native development.
