Senior Automation Engineer (with AWS)

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior Automation Engineer (with AWS) in Westlake, TX.

Duties:
* Responsible for Analysis, Design, Quality Assurance, Implementation and Support of portal web applications
* Work on Automation of regression suites and providing automated solutions for the validations this team provides
* Work collaboratively with other teams to implement and maintain the technical solutions by analyzing complex business problems; Your work will impact the thousands of registered investment advisors, correspondents, and individual investors who use our platform
* Designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts
* Collaborating with colleagues on technical implementation and process improvement

REQUIREMENTS:
* B.S. in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent experience
* Experience with automation Frameworks like Selenium, Cucumber is must
* Experience working with Terraform Infrastructure as code, AWS EKS, S3 is required
* Experience with Splunk/Datadog, Jenkins and Jenkins pipeline construction is must
* Experience with data analysis techniques and tools, including SQL queries, is often required
* Experience working with UDeploy, Artifactory, Sonar, ServiceNow
* Experience in defining and implementing test automation frameworks that are maintainable and scalable
* Familiarity with various testing tools, including automated testing frameworks, bug tracking systems, and performance testing tools
* Understanding and experience with testing APIs, including REST and SOAP APIs
* Proficiency in using test management tools such as JIRA
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are crucial for identifying and resolving system issues
* Experience with Java and Spring/Spring Boot application development is a plus
* Knowledge of Apache webserver is a plus

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
