Job Title: IT Infrastructure Project Manager - Healthcare Industry - 242474
Work Location: 100% Remote in the US
Position Type: Contract
Duration: 6-12 Months
Compensation: $65-$70 / hour, Depending on Experience
ABOUT OUR CLIENT / ABOUT THIS ROLE
Our client is a large Health Services / Healthcare organization. This role sits on an Enterprise PMO team that drives all company-wide IT Infrastructure upgrades / enhancements. This particular project is a Project Management role focused on upgrading network circuits and upgrading core data center servers, virtualization and DR infrastructure.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Project Leadership: Direct and manage IT infrastructure projects focused on data center consolidation and upgrade projects
- Circuit Management: Oversee projects to upgrade internet circuits to fiber and network circuit upgrades (ie, upgrading to Fiber, replacing structured cabling, etc)
- IT Project lifecycle management: Lead all project phases from requirements definition, planning, design, and architecture through to testing, deployment, and support.
- Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the key liaison with stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, risks, and budget.
- Vendor & Team Coordination: Manage external vendors, contracts, and bids related to data center and circuit projects. Coordinate internal technical teams.
- Risk & Budget Control: Identify and mitigate project risks, manage project scope, and ensure adherence to budget and timelines.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including plans, schedules, and status reports.
REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
- 7-10+ years experience
- PMP Certified
- In-depth knowledge and experience with Network Circuit projects
- In-depth knowledge and experience with Data Center consolidation / upgrade projects.
- Should have a depth of knowledge in the Healthcare Industry
- HIPAA / HITRUST experience
