REQUEST HIGHLIGHTS:

Performance measured on accuracy, high-performance, and on time execution of PCB layout.

Manage all aspects of PCB design, work with hardware design engineers and PCB/ Assembly vendors to determine PCB stack-up, apply design constraints, perform component placement, signal routing, and DFM.

Create OrCAD schematic symbols, PCB footprint and 3D component models in Allegro, and maintain ECAD library databases.

Support layout of mixed signal, high-speed, and RF multi-layer HDI circuit boards.

Prepare fabrication notes, assembly notes, and all deliverables, such as Gerber files, drill charts, PCB assembly BOMs, and other PCB and assembly related documents required by PCB fabrication vendors to build circuit boards for prototypes and products.

Work with local and international PCB fabrication vendors and contract manufacturers for addressing DFM concerns and providing feedback.

Summary:

The client is building products that make it easier for people to connect with the ones they love most. We have built a team of world-class experts developing and shipping products at the intersection of hardware, software, and content. Our team has the responsibility for taking breakthrough concepts and delivering them to market at scale. Client seeks a motivated individual with a deep understanding of printed circuit board design (PCB), high speed design environments, and the ability to receive guidance from our design engineers to build complex circuit boards. This is a position based in our Sunnyvale, California location.
