Arraya Solutions, a leading technology consulting firm, is looking for an Infrastructure Engineer to join our customer's team!

We are seeking a skilled Infrastructure Engineer with a solid background in server management, storage solutions, and VMware virtualization technologies. The Infrastructure Engineer will be instrumental in managing daily operations, including system provisioning, upgrades, and troubleshooting maintaining high availability and scalability for a userbase several hundred. This Infrastructure Engineer will also be tasked with documenting system configurations comprehensively and providing advanced support levels, including participation in rotational on-call duties.
This role is ideal for someone who has deep hands-on experience building, managing, and troubleshooting enterprise Windows Server environments and VMware clusters. This is an engineering-focused, highly technical position supporting a experienced infrastructure environment.
Responsibilities:
- Lead administration, configuration, and optimization of Windows Server 2016/2019/2022
- Manage and maintain VMware ESXi/vSphere clusters, storage, performance, HA/DRS, and VM lifecycle Support Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy across the enterprise
- Troubleshoot complex server and virtualization issues (Tier 3/4 escalation)
- Assist with Citrix, Intune/MDM, Ivanti, and endpoint imaging environments
- Support system hardening, patching, and security best practices
- Document infrastructure changes and mentor entry level team members
- Participate in disaster recovery planning and testing
Requirements:
- 5+ years in systems engineering or infrastructure administration
- Expert-level experience with Windows Server and VMware (priority skillset)
- Strong background in Active Directory, GPOs, and general server/network support
- Experience with (or exposure to): Citrix, Ivanti, Microsoft Intune, Check Point firewalls, Cisco networking
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities
- Preferred (Not Required) MCSE, VCP, CCA-V, or Microsoft Endpoint Admin certifications
- PowerShell or scripting experience Microsoft 365/Azure exposure Backup experience (Rubrik, Veeam, etc.)
