Job Details
Key responsibilities include:
- Performing day-to-day SAP BASIS administration tasks, covering system monitoring, tuning, troubleshooting, patching, and upgrades.
- Supporting SAP systems hosted on-premise and transitioning to or operating within the Azure cloud platform.
- Collaborating with technical teams, vendors, and stakeholders to plan and execute system migrations, integrations, and cloud optimizations.
- Ensuring compliance with security standards, backup procedures, and disaster recovery requirements. Assisting with performance analysis and capacity planning for sustainable growth.
This position demands high technical expertise in SAP BASIS administration, cloud infrastructure experience (preferably Microsoft Azure), and a strong grasp of ERP systems in the public sector.
Required Skills/Experience
The ideal candidate will possess the following minimum skills and/or experience:
- Five years of experience in SAP BASIS administration and technical core tasks, including SAP software installation, upgrade, support packages, patches, workload analysis, system error analysis, performance monitoring, and maintenance of multi-landscape environments.
- Two years of experience supporting an SAP operational system for a Public Sector client.
- Two years of experience with Linux/DB2 and Windows/MSSQL.
- One year of experience with Azure cloud computing platform.
Preferred/Not Required
While not mandatory, the following skills/experience would be advantageous:
- Experience with OpenText Suite for SAP.
