Job Description:

Apex Systems is seeking a Revenue Forecasting Analyst to join our large hospitality client in the McLean, VA area!

Location: McLean, VA. Please note this is a hybrid role - 3 days/week on site (typically T, W, Th).

Pay: Up to$45/hr. dependent upon experience

Contract Duration: 1 year with potential to extend

Key Qualifications:

BA/BS Bachelor's Degree in Business Analytics or Information Management

2-4 years of Procurement or Supply Management experience

1-3 years of experience in business intelligence and reporting tools such as Tableau, Power BI and SQL

Hospitality industry experience at an operational or enterprise level is a plus

What will I be doing?

In this role, you will report to the Director of Business Performance within the Supply Management's Strategy Planning & Insights team. Your primary responsibility will be supporting HSM business processes and technology, such as spend data quality management, revenue calculations, revenue tracking, revenue auditing, and revenue reporting.

Support the Strategy, Planning, and Insights team with analysis, reporting, strategic projects and ongoing processes as needed.

Maintain and enhance (as needed) reporting dashboards and underlying data to efficiently monitor end-to-end revenue management process, including spend data receipt, revenue calculation, supplier invoicing, revenue tracking, and revenue collection.

Analyze revenue performance against business targets and multi-year revenue growth strategies and report on trends.

Support and collaborate on HSM's Incentive Management process, including fee calculations, contract term reviews, and revenue collections.

Actively manage and troubleshoot incoming spend reports from contracted suppliers, ensuring external users are reporting in an accurate and timely manner.

Conducting data validations (primarily spend data), ensuring data is complete and accurate, and addressing data gaps.

To fulfill this role successfully, you should demonstrate the following minimum qualifications:

BA/BS Bachelor's Degree or High School Diploma/GED with two (2) to Four (4) years of Procurement, Business Intelligence/Data Analytics, or Revenue Management experience

Deep understanding of the Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel

It would be helpful in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:

BA/BS Bachelor's Degree in Business Analytics or Information Management

Two (2) to four (4) years of Procurement or Supply Management experience

One (1) to three (3) years of experience in business intelligence and reporting tools such as Tableau, Power BI and SQL

Hospitality industry experience at an operational or enterprise level is a plus
