This opportunity offers the chance to be in a very senior position of one of the worlds most technical and successful high freuqency trading funds.
Experience working in hyperscale environments is necessary as you'd be the first dedicated research network architect for the business.
This team designs and engineers the communications infrastructure that allows their large scale (1000's of servers), heterogeneous distributed research environment to grow rapidly and operate optimally in support of their computing resources.
You'd have a large amount of impact and ownership from the offset.
This position requires both product leadership and vision on the future of cloud-scale networking, as well as deep technical skills.

- In-depth understanding of common layer 2 and layer 3 network protocols and best practices; working knowledge of OSPF, BGP, PIM, IGMP, spine-leaf architecture, and VXLAN
- Experience in selecting and working with vendors to engineer switches for next-generation computing environments
- Experience managing Arista (EOS), Cisco (NXOS), and SONiC-based switches, as well as an interest in exploring new platforms
- Experience in designing computing and grid networks, capacity planning, and full lifecycle project management
