Job Summary

Under general supervison, this position is responsible for developing and programming integrated software algorithms to structure, analyze and leverage data in product and systems applications in both structured and unstructured environments.

Under general supervison, this position is responsible for developing and programming integrated software algorithms to structure, analyze and leverage data in product and systems applications in both structured and unstructured environments.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and communicate descriptive, diagnostic, predictive, and prescriptive insights/algorithms of moderate scope and complexity.
- Use moderately complex machine language and statistical modeling techniques, such as decision trees, logistic regression, Bayesian analysis, and others, to develop and evaluate algorithms for improving product/system performance, quality, data management, and accuracy in product/systems improvement projects.
- Translate algorithms and technical specifications into code using moderately complex programming languages and technologies in theoretical development and specific product design, implementation, and improvement environments.
- Complete programming tasks, implement efficiencies, and perform testing and debugging.
- Complete documentation and procedures for installation and maintenance.
- Apply deep learning technologies to enable computers to visualize, learn, and respond to a variety of situations of moderate scope and complexity.
- Adapt machine learning applications to areas such as virtual reality, augmented reality, artificial intelligence, robotics, and other products that allow users to have an interactive experience.
- Maintain the strict confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Observe all laws, regulations, and other applicable obligations wherever and whenever business is conducted on behalf of the company.
- Work in a safe manner in accordance with established operating procedures and practices.
Job Qualifications
- Typically requires a bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a related technical discipline from an accredited institution.
- Requires two or more years of machine learning experience with a bachelor's degree.
- Equivalent machine learning engineer experience may be substituted in lieu of education.
- Must have a general understanding of machine learning concepts, principles, and theory, with technical experience demonstrating the application of those concepts while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.
- Must possess the ability to quickly understand new concepts and apply them accurately in an evolving environment.
- Must be able to organize work assignments to meet established timetables.
- Strong communication, computer, documentation, presentation, and interpersonal skills are required.
- Must be able to work both independently and as part of a team.
