Skillset:
  • Good knowledge on SQL server database administration
  • Minimum 3 years of experience
  • Good Knowledge on cloud Platforms - AWS, Azure
  • Experience with ticketing systems (ServiceNow, JIRA, etc.)
  • Ability to work in a 24x7 support environment or rotational shifts
  • Nice to have experience working with Monitoring tools : AWS CloudWatch, Datadog.
Responsibilities:
  • Knowledge on Alert Monitoring, Reporting and Escalations.
  • Able to handle Incident Management Process
  • First Line Support (Logging, Triaging, prioritization, tracking, and routing incidents reported by users)
  • Escalate the incidents to L2 if not resolvable by L1
  • SQL server health check including(CPU, Memory, Disk space usage, Blocking sessions, Job failures, Backup status, HADR status
  • Knowledge on cloud environments-Azure and AWS
  • Monitoring emails and tickets, tracking the ticketing tool, and addressing pending tickets to ensure timely closure.
  • Position is 100% Remote.
