About the Opportunity

The Digital Platform (DP) team has an immediate opening for a Cloud Engineer with experience in Azure and AWS. The DP team provides a critical technical foundation with infrastructure and configuration of digital experience platforms. We work as one-team to deliver high-quality, reliable, and modern technologies.

What You Will Do:
  • With an understanding of cloud industry best practices, you will contribute to the implementation of an enterprise-wide, unified strategy for the next generation of Digital Platform tooling by providing cloud infrastructure, configuration management for Web Content Management and Enterprise Search platforms, and other development and operational support responsibilities.
  • This is a hands-on engineering position where you will write infrastructure as code with cloud native technology and third-party tools to ensure that our infrastructure and products are secure, repeatable, highly available, and deliver business benefits to our customers.
  • In addition, you will support WCM and search products, implement automated testing tools, and write CI/CD pipelines.
  • You will join a talented team of cloud engineers with diverse experiences, backgrounds, and skills.


Qualifications:
  • Multi-cloud experience working with AWS and Azure services is required.
  • Successful candidates at the Cloud Engineer Advanced level will have 10+ years of relevant work experience. The Senior level Cloud Engineer will have 6 to 9 years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience with Azure ARM templates or Bicep.
  • Experience with Terraform.
  • Experience with PowerShell.
  • Experience creating CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience with cloud native monitoring and alerting services.
  • Understanding of web content management and search engine platforms.
  • Familiarity with Sitecore CMS and Solr Search would be beneficial.

  • The hiring range for the Senior level Cloud Engineer is $110,200 - $151,580 annually. The hiring range for the Advanced level Cloud Engineer is $124,200 - $170,720.
  • For candidates outside Richmond, VA, listed hiring and salary ranges may be adjusted based on your geographic location.
  • Salary offered will be based on the job responsibilities and the individual's knowledge, skills, and experience as defined in the job qualifications.
