Overview:
Our Client is currently seeking a highly experienced Student Administration Senior Technical Developer/Analyst to provide technical expertise and development support for a large-scale PeopleSoft Campus Solutions environment. This role will be part of a centralized Information Systems team that manages enterprise applications supporting both individual campuses and a central office.

This expert-level position involves working on complex technical issues, designing and developing scalable solutions, providing production support, and guiding technical best practices across various development projects. The role also includes mentorship responsibilities and offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge system integrations and enhancements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop new solutions independently using PeopleTools and related technologies.

  • Provide advanced technical support and enhancements for the PeopleSoft Campus Solutions (Student Administration) platform.

  • Use tools such as PeopleCode, Application Designer, Application Engine, SQR, Integration Broker, Web Services, and BI Publisher to develop and support solutions.

  • Troubleshoot production issues and provide campus-level support through ticketing systems like ServiceNow.

  • Collaborate with functional leads to plan and implement ongoing system maintenance and improvements.

  • Mentor junior developers and share best practices.

  • Lead technical tasks on major projects including upgrades, patching, and module implementations.

  • Analyze system requirements and produce technical documentation and estimates.

  • Ensure development adheres to coding, testing, and documentation standards.

  • Engage in continuous learning and stay updated with the latest tools and technologies in the PeopleSoft ecosystem.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • 7 to 10 years of technical development experience with PeopleSoft Student Administration (Campus Solutions) version 9.2 or higher.

  • Expertise in PeopleTools 8.60 or above.

  • Proven ability to independently build new development based on functional requirements.

  • Deep proficiency with:

    • Fluid UI

    • PeopleCode

    • Application Designer

    • Application Engine

    • Integration Broker

    • Web Services

    • SQR/SQL

    • BI Publisher

    • Change Assistant / PUM

  • Experience with full software development lifecycle (SDLC) practices.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environment.

  • High attention to detail and a customer-centric mindset.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Specialized technical expertise in one or more Campus Solutions modules, such as Academic Advising or Admissions.
