Senior UI/UX Front-End Engineer - Miami, FL (Hybrid)

In this critical role, you will be responsible for developing innovative, efficient, and actionable technology solutions to drive frontend channels (including the digital bank mobile app and digital wallet) globally. You will collaborate closely with other engineers and Product Owners to translate customer needs and high-level requirements into suitable solutions. Your primary goal will be to ensure that products are delivered on time, under budget, and with successful deployment.

Role Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement new software, maintain and improve existing software solutions to drive front-end channels using OutSystems (Digital Banking mobile and web apps).
  • Ensure that software functionality is implemented with a focus on code optimization and organization.
  • Recommend improvements to existing software programs.
  • Troubleshoot application issues and coordinate issue resolution with operations, functional, and technical teams.
  • Strong emphasis on the customer journey, product quality, performance tuning, troubleshooting, and continuous development.
  • Work with a software development team and service providers in a geographically distributed structure.

Role Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience building web and mobile applications leveraging Front-End technologies/frameworks such as ReactJS/React Native, AngularJS, CSS, HTML
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Relevant low-code development experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Demonstrated experience in modern programming languages and design patterns, such as Outsystems Language (OSL), Angular, JavaScript, NodeJS, and C#.NET.
  • Experience with UI/UX concepts, architecture design, and the ability to communicate and evangelize those concepts to stakeholders and external partners.
  • Proven track record of writing quality, highly-efficient code using OutSystems integration, component/add-on development.
  • Excellent understanding of data structures, algorithms, OOP, and OOA/D.
  • Hands-on experience building microservices-based architecture and platforms that are developed/deployed at scale.
  • Relational database application development using SQL.

Salary

The base salary range is $95,000 - $128,000 USD per year. This role is also eligible to receive an annual bonus that aligns with individual and company performance. Actual salaries will vary based on candidates' qualifications, skills, and competencies.
