Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Location: Remote (must be local to the greater Sacramento, CA area)

About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Web Applications Programmer II to design, develop, and maintain web-based applications and services. This role is focused on enterprise application development, system integration, and user interface programming using Microsoft technologies. Candidates should have strong communication skills and experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement web-based solutions using .NET, C#, and related technologies, with attention to user experience and cross-browser compatibility.
  • Design, prototype, and maintain enterprise web applications that integrate with third-party systems and internal platforms.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and support applications using technologies such as HTML, JavaScript, XML, CSS, AJAX, JSON, and SQL.
  • Manage web programming tasks including content integration, database support, and site maintenance.
  • Ensure quality assurance through unit testing and source code control.
  • Stay current on best practices in security, performance, and development standards.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to define and deliver technical solutions.
  • Mentor junior developers and contribute to technical guidance within the team.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
  • 7+ years of experience in web development, with a minimum of 4 years in .NET/C#.
  • 1+ year of experience working with Sitecore CMS.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft development stack: ASP.NET, C#, SQL Server, WCF, Entity Framework.
  • Proficiency with modern web technologies: HTML, XHTML, XML, XSLT, JavaScript, jQuery, CSS, AJAX, SOAP, REST, and JSON.
  • Experience in Agile/Scrum development environments and familiarity with SDLC methodologies.
  • Solid understanding of software architecture, object-oriented design, and systems infrastructure.
  • Experience using tools such as Visual Studio, TFS, and version control systems.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Financial services or banking industry experience.
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, especially when working with stakeholders and business units.
Certifications (Preferred but not required):
  • Sitecore Professional Developer Certification
