Staffmark is hiring a Junior Production Test Technician for a leading electronics manufacturer in Plano, TX. If you have a background in electronics testing and want to be part of a collaborative, high-performing team, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
Pay: $19.00/hour
Schedule: Monday - Friday | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
In this hands-on role, you will perform functional testing on electronic systems and sub-assemblies to ensure they meet quality standards before being shipped to customers. You'll verify system configurations, run diagnostic tests, generate reports, and help identify issues at the module level.

In this hands-on role, you will perform functional testing on electronic systems and sub-assemblies to ensure they meet quality standards before being shipped to customers. You'll verify system configurations, run diagnostic tests, generate reports, and help identify issues at the module level.
Responsibilities:
- Perform functional and system-level production testing on various assemblies
- Verify system configurations and settings according to customer specifications
- Conduct testing using test procedures, tools, and equipment to ensure factory compliance
- Generate and review electronic test reports; authorize reports submitted by other technicians
- Diagnose and troubleshoot defective systems to the module level
- Read and interpret wiring schematics, diagrams, and documentation from IFS
- Ensure test results meet company and industry quality standards
Qualifications:
- Associate's degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in electronics testing required
- Strong knowledge of analog/digital circuits, microcontrollers, and power electronics
- Familiarity with AC/DC high-power environments and electrical protection systems
- Proficient in using test equipment (e.g., multimeters, test fixtures, loads)
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced production environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
