RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Security Architect. This role is M-Th in-office. Various office locations include Rocklin, CA, San Francisco, CA, San Jose, CA, The Colony, TX, Olive Branch, MS, South Brunswick, NJ, Brooklyn, NY.
Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Architect. This role is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the organization's security infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cybersecurity, risk management, and security technologies. The Security Architect will work closely with the CISO to ensure the security of our systems and data.
Duties/Day to Day:
* Security Architect will design and implement security solutions to protect systems and data
* Conduct security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and risks
* Develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and standards
* Monitor security systems and respond to incidents
* Collaborate with IT and other departments to integrate security into operations
* Stay current with security trends, technologies, and threats
* As a Security Architect, you will provide training and guidance on security best practices
* Prepare and present security reports to the CISO and stakeholders
* Work with new technologies to ensure tools interact with current tools, including configuration (API), credentials, data management, and requirement alignment
* Ensure applications are built per security inspection standards and collaborate closely with project managers
* Evaluate and upgrade outdated technologies to meet current security standards
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field
* Minimum 7 years of experience in cybersecurity or information security
* Proven experience designing and implementing security solutions
* Solid security background with some architecture experience
* Experience with risk management and security assessments
* Experience working with in-house developed applications and codebases
* Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
* Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
Additional Qualifications:
* Professional certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH, cloud certifications)
* Hands-on experience with AD, Linux systems, Snowflake, Azure, and VMWare
* Ecommerce experience is a strong plus, retail also helpful
* Background in a large multi-national organization is a strong plus
* Utilization of appdev tools like Vericode, Sneek, Ox, etc. is a plus
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
