Job Description:
"Techno-Functional HCM Specialist" who serves as a critical link between HR business functions and technology. This expert is responsible for the configuration, maintenance, and optimization of the organization's Human Capital Management (HCM) systems across core areas like absence management, payroll, benefits, and compensation.
Summary The HCM Techno-Functional Analyst is an expert in the configuration, maintenance, and ongoing optimization of the company's Human Capital Management (HCM) system. This role requires strong technical skills combined with deep functional knowledge of payroll, benefits, absence management, and compensation processes. The analyst acts as a crucial liaison, working closely with HR, Payroll, and other business partners to translate business needs into technical solutions, ensure data integrity, and drive process improvements.
Key Responsibilities
System Configuration and Management: Configure and maintain HCM modules including Core HCM, Benefits, Absence Management, Payroll, and Compensation to support business requirements and ensure alignment with company policies and regulatory compliance.
Business Partnership: Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements, conduct needs analysis, and propose system solutions and process improvements.
Troubleshooting and Support: Provide expert-level support by diagnosing and resolving complex system issues and acting as an escalation point for technical and functional problems.
Data Integrity and Auditing: Develop and run routine audits and queries to ensure data accuracy across all HCM modules. Investigate and resolve data discrepancies in a timely manner.
System Enhancements and Projects: Participate in the full project lifecycle for system upgrades and enhancements, including requirements gathering, configuration, testing, documentation, and deployment.
Reporting and Analytics: Create standard and custom reports, dashboards, and analytics to support HR functions, payroll operations, and strategic business decisions.
Process Optimization: Identify opportunities to automate and streamline HR processes using HCM capabilities to increase efficiency and enhance the user experience.
Training and Documentation: Develop and maintain technical and end-user training materials and documentation for new and existing processes.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Proven Techno-Functional Expertise:
- Deep Payroll Knowledge: Strong experience configuring and supporting payroll systems, including year-end processing and tax compliance.
- Benefits and Compensation: Demonstrated experience with compensation structures, benefit plan administration, and annual enrollment processes.
- Absence Management: Extensive experience with absence and leave management configuration and administration, including accrual plans and eligibility rules.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Exceptional ability to communicate technical information to non-technical business teams and translate business needs into technical requirements.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills to troubleshoot complex issues, analyze data, and evaluate system policies.
- Technical Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of HRIS/HCM platforms (e.g., Workday, Oracle HCM Cloud, PeopleSoft) with hands-on configuration experience.
- Attention to Detail: Meticulous and detail-oriented approach to tasks, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
- Bachelor's Degree: A bachelor's degree in a related field such as Computer Science, Information Systems, or Human Resources is required.
