Job Details

Software Resources has an immediate, direct placement job opportunity for a Senior IT Analyst with a major corporation on-site in San Francisco, CA. 3-5 days per week on-site.
Salary: $150,000/annually
Location: In-Office | Full-time

By creating tools that simplify the complexities of zero-knowledge technology, we empower developers to build applications that prioritize security, user control, and scalability. We envision a future where privacy is not an afterthought but a fundamental standard, enabling a more secure and equitable Web3.

As a start-up, we move fast, solve hard problems with creativity, and trust every team member to own outcomes. We foster a collaborative, flexible environment where self-starters thrive and where learning and experimentation are part of the job.
The Role:
We are looking for a Senior IT Analyst who is excited to build, secure, and scale our IT environment from the ground up. This is not a "maintenance only role it's about wearing many hats, driving initiatives, and adapting quickly as our needs evolve.

You will be the go-to person for everything from endpoint management and SaaS administration to cloud security and incident response. In a start-up setting, that means you'll need to be highly self-motivated, able to research and learn quickly, and comfortable shifting priorities when needed. If you enjoy being hands-on, solving problems independently, and directly shaping how IT supports a growing company, you'll fit right in.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Own and support company communication and collaboration platforms (Google Workspace, Slack) and ensure they scale with us.
  • Manage and support MacOS environments, including advanced troubleshooting.
  • Develop and enforce IT and security policies, protocols, and best practices that align with a start-up's need for both agility and protection.
  • Design, deploy, and maintain LAN, WAN, and wireless networks for reliability and performance.
  • Configure and manage security infrastructure (firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, MDM, endpoint protection).
  • Investigate and respond to security incidents, owning remediation and learning from each one.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering teams to integrate security into applications and cloud infrastructure (AWS, Google Cloud Platform).
  • Lead IT and security projects end-to-end, often balancing multiple initiatives at once.
  • Proactively research new tools, evaluate trade-offs, and make recommendations that improve performance, security, and user experience.
  • Partner with teams across the company to anticipate IT needs, delivering solutions that remove friction and accelerate growth.

What We're Looking For:

  • Strong hands-on experience with Google Workspace and Slack administration.
  • Advanced MacOS administration and troubleshooting skills.
  • Expertise in SSO and MDM solutions.
  • Solid networking knowledge (TCP/IP, VLANs, DNS, DHCP, OSPF/BGP).
  • Familiarity with cloud networking (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform) and hybrid architectures.
  • Curiosity, research skills, and the ability to independently evaluate and deploy new tools.
  • Excellent communication skills and comfort working cross-functionally.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Google Workspace Admin, Apple Certified Support Professional, CCNA) are a plus.

Why You'll Love Working Here:

  • The chance to directly shape IT at a fast-moving start-up.
  • A monthly budget for home office setup, personal well-being, and continued learning.
  • Comprehensive healthcare coverage.
  • Flexible vacation policy.
  • Opportunities to attend major industry conferences and global events.
  • Team off-sites and retreats where you'll help define our culture as much as our technology.

Note: At this time, we cannot sponsor visas of any kind.

We are committed to diversity in its workforce and is proud to be an equal-opportunity employer.
