Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Network Project Manager to lead and coordinate WAN (Wide Area Network) changes with end customers. This role requires strong communication, leadership, and project management skills to effectively schedule, oversee, and ensure seamless execution of network changes with minimal disruption. The ideal candidate will work closely with internal teams, external clients, ISPs, and vendors to facilitate smooth network transitions and ensure adherence to best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Network Change Coordination: Oversee and manage end-to-end WAN change implementations, ensuring alignment between stakeholders and technical teams.
Stakeholder Communication: Act as the primary liaison between clients, network engineers, ISPs, and internal teams, ensuring clear and timely communication.
Scheduling & Planning: Develop and manage detailed change schedules, timelines, and resource allocations to optimize project execution.
Risk Assessment & Mitigation: Identify potential risks related to network modifications and implement proactive solutions to minimize impact.
Change Management: Ensure all network changes follow ITIL frameworks, change control policies, and industry best practices.
Escalation Management: Address and resolve scheduling conflicts, technical roadblocks, and
resource allocations to optimize project execution.
Risk Assessment & Mitigation: Identify potential risks related to network modifications and implement proactive solutions to minimize impact.
Change Management: Ensure all network changes follow ITIL frameworks, change control policies, and industry best practices.
Escalation Management: Address and resolve scheduling conflicts, technical roadblocks, and escalations to keep projects on track.
Process Optimization: Continuously refine project management strategies, improving efficiency in scheduling, coordination, and execution of network transitions.
Reporting & Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of change schedules, approvals, and implementation status while providing regular progress updates to leadership.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, operations, and customer support teams to ensure seamless execution of network changes.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
8+ years of experience in network project management, telecommunications, or IT infrastructure coordination.
Strong knowledge of WAN technologies, SD-WAN, MPLS, and network change management processes.
Exceptional communication, leadership, and coordination skills to interact with customers, executives, and technical teams.
