Data Engineer

Experience: 10+ Years

Location: Onsite (Minneapolis) / Hybrid

As a Data Engineer, you will be part of an Agile team responsible for building healthcare applications and implementing new features while adhering to best-in-class coding and development standards.

Responsibilities:

  1. Design and maintain scalable data pipelines and models as a Senior Data Engineer.

  2. Lead data modeling efforts using dimensional, relational, and NoSQL approaches.

  3. Develop and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines, ensuring data quality and timely delivery.

  4. Implement data governance practices aligned with HIPAA regulations.

  5. Design and manage cloud-based data solutions using AWS services (S3, Redshift, Glue, Athena, etc.).

  6. Automate workflows using Apache Airflow for efficient data processing.

  7. Support analytics and reporting teams by providing reliable data foundations.

  8. Troubleshoot performance issues and optimize query execution.

  9. Ensure code quality through version control, testing, and thorough documentation.

  10. Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable data solutions.

  11. Required: 5+ years of experience in data engineering and at least 2+ years in the healthcare insurance domain.

Educational Qualifications:

  • Engineering Degree BE/ME/BTech/MTech/BSc/MSc

  • Technical certification in multiple technologies is desirable
