Infrastructure Architect

We are seeking a Systems Architect IV to provide senior-level leadership and technical expertise in defining, governing, and implementing enterprise-wide systems architecture. This role is responsible for establishing architectural standards, guiding complex system integrations, and ensuring technology solutions align with business objectives across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior-level architectural leadership on enterprise systems design, priorities, and strategic technology decisions.
• Define, establish, and enforce architecture standards, frameworks, and guidelines across the enterprise.
• Architect and implement complex, multi-platform solutions involving diverse operating systems, applications, and infrastructure components.
• Review and design standard software and hardware builds, evaluating risks, costs, benefits, and enterprise-wide business impact.
• Develop and maintain integration and implementation frameworks for changes to technical standards.
• Assist in developing and managing an architecture governance process, including design reviews and compliance oversight.
• Provide technical guidance and architectural direction to project teams and engineering groups.
• Partner with business and IT stakeholders to ensure solutions align with enterprise goals and business processes.
• Track industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to continuously improve enterprise architecture.
• Identify technical risks and provide mitigation strategies to ensure system reliability, scalability, and security.

Requirements

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
• 10+ years of experience in IT infrastructure and systems environments.
• Proven experience in:
  • Enterprise systems architecture and design
  • Infrastructure and platform engineering (hardware & software)
  • Systems planning, optimization, and integration
  • Architecture standards and governance
• Strong understanding of multi-platform environments, including operating systems, enterprise applications, and infrastructure technologies.
• Ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical architectures.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform).
• Exposure to enterprise architecture frameworks (TOGAF or similar).
• Experience supporting large-scale, distributed, or regulated enterprise environments.
• Prior experience working in remote teams with geographically distributed stakeholders.
