Key Skills for a Google Cloud Platform Data Engineer:
- Google Cloud Platform Proficiency:
- Deep understanding of Google Cloud Platform services like BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL, Dataflow, Dataproc, Cloud Pub/Sub, and Cloud Composer.
- Experience with data warehousing solutions on Google Cloud Platform.
- Ability to design, build, and manage scalable and reliable data pipelines.
- Data Management:
- Data modeling and database management (SQL and NoSQL).
- Proficiency in ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes.
- Understanding of data warehousing and data lake concepts.
