Job Overview:

The IT Business Analyst II-Customer Experience is responsible for bridging the gap between IT and the business using data analytics to assess processes, determine requirements and deliver data-driven recommendations and reports to executives and stakeholders for their assign support team or function.

IT Business Analyst II enables change in the organization by comprehending business problems and providing product or service solutions that will maximize its value to its stakeholders. This level may support a team or function of larger strategic direction or increase from one product/service.

Job Responsibilities:

Engages with business leaders, end users and other IT teams to understand how data-driven changes to process, products, services, software and hardware can improve efficiencies and add value

Evaluates business requirements against system capabilities by reviewing application configuration capabilities and technical requirements, using data flow modeling, fu

Influences and articulates to business leaders and end users what is technologically feasible and financially and functionally reasonable

Creates and maintains business and technical documentation for IT and end users, such as data models, business processes, test plans, technical design documents

Manages the application change life cycle through documentation and determining prioritization

Translates business needs into detailed specifications for the develop and technical teams

Facilitates discussions on product and/ services recommendations to leaders and business stakeholders

Presents end user requirements, functional specifications, technical specifications and process flow diagrams to technical teams and other stakeholders

Job Requirements:

Education/Certification:

Bachelor's degree in computer science or related discipline or a combination of relevant IT experience and education

Experience:

3-6 years' experience relevant IT experience

3 -6 years' experience working with process flow diagrams, data models, test plans, technical design documents, and business process documentation

3-6 years' experience working in software, networks, databases or other technology

Experience working with geographically dispersed teams

Experience with Retail Supply Chain preferred

Experience with Jira Boards preferred

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

Knowledge of assigned specific software system or application

Knowledge of Data Analytics and the ability to create data models

Knowledge of Change Management principles preferred

Technical writing and requirements skills

Organizational and Facilitation skills

Interpersonal and consultation skills

Critical thinking skills

Ability to work independently and break down and organize assigned work into workable tasks

Ability to learn new systems, concepts and procedures

Good judgment is required for this position as there may be times when direct supervision may not be immediately available.

Work Environment:

Remote Role:

This position is classified as remote where the associate will perform remote work from their primary residence. Remote associates are welcome to work from the office but are not required to do so. While remote associates are not required to work from an office on a regular basis, they may be required to come to the office or other UNFI locations for necessary business reasons or if directed to do so by their manager.

Travel (minor):

This position may require the associate to travel to company offices, distribution centers, or other locations for specific meetings or other business reasons.
